This is for those of you who may not have seen my biography pages on Amazon. Here's the UK one.

Born a natural medium and healer in the UK, Lorraine is the author of three published books, has one more already completed and is about to publish her latest.
How To Know If You're a Medium is the latest book Lorraine has just finished and about to have published. Done mainly as questions and answers, it covers possibly all you want to know about anything and everything to do with mediumship and healing.
A Roman Catholic, Lorraine is not a spiritualist and disagrees with most of their teachings about mediumship and the fact they say all can learn to be mediums and healers. A Guide's Guide to Mediumship and Healing, as well as being an instructional manual for all to read and enjoy, also explains why some of these spiritualist teachings are wrong in words given to Lorraine from the spirit world.
In her books, talks and videos, she asks us all to question everything we hear about the spirit world whilst at the same time giving us guidelines on how this work should be done in an honest and humble way by natural born mediums and not 'taught' ones. No subject is avoided and on her blog, she answers questions from anyone who wants to learn more.

This book is a refreshing outlook on todays mediumship. If you're one like me that has been from pillar to post looking for answers or training upon training and getting nowhere fast I think you will find the answer in this book. You might like the answer and then again you might not , but wouldn't you rather know where you stand instead of being told nonsense all the time and in many cases paying cash out for courses that just don't work?
This book is a black and white honest approach which has been a long time coming and with luck will do its job in balancing the playing field and getting rid of all the dead wood amongst this industry. I am not going to go into detail why you should take this book seriously as that is a journey you need to make for yourself but I would say this is a hidden treasure which is yet to be fully recognised. A lovely read and a book best purchased in paperbook.... why? because you will keeping going back to it all the time and it's a keeper. My view shortly the publishing world is going to wake up to this author in a big way. Regards Michael Thorpe

5.0 out of 5 stars I Am a Sceptic No More5 April 2011
This book is a warm and engaging series of stories and discussions of the author's experiences as a practicing natural born medium and healer. If you have ever wondered what these things are all about and how they are done, then this is the book for you. At the same time, if you think you already know what these things are all about, then you will discover there is so much more that you do not know.

The author writes with great humility and compassion. Her writing is honest and straight forward without any embellishments. I recommend it most highly.

I bought this book recently and I found the content refreshingly straightforward and honest. Lorraine confirms my own thoughts on healing and mediumistic ability so I found that really helpful. There are lessons within the text which are easy to follow and allows each person to develop at their own pace to their own potential. So a great book, easy to read and follow.

Lorraine Holloway-White has managed to find just the right, delicate approach to her latest offering, "A Guide's Guide to Mediumship and Healing".
Yes, she is a medium but no she doesn't make a sideshow out of it.
Yes she has a message but no, not everyone is going to like it and especially those who think they can somehow pick up a couple of unearthly tricks along the way.
Educational but not tiresome, entertaining but not flippant, I heartily recommend it to anyone who holds a flame for the serious mediums of the world and their guides
