Basking on The English Riviera

The whole of the UK is covered in snow and the country is almost at a standstill - except for Torquay in Devon. We had a very light dusting of snow yesterday morning, and the pond is frozen, but we are still the greenest county in England and the mildest.

The above photograph shows what we look like compared to the rest of the country. We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful area, but I would love some snow, just for a while.

Look at that beach. See how blue that sky is? It is cold and crisp out and the pond has ice that is about 4 inches thick and is a pig to break up in the morning and during the day for the animals, but we have two weaker spots now from keeping doing it in the same place, so it's a lot easier.

I won't bore you with more, but there are so many photographs of where everyone lives at the moment and how it looks, that I thought I'd show what it looks like where we are.
